If you are not willing to follow the rules it outlines, we kindly ask you to please not sign up for service. Noncompliant bins will not be serviced.

Step 1 - Select Your Bins

These are the prices we pay to purchase them on your behalf. We will purchase all bins, label them with our logo, and deliver them to your curb (no delivery fee). The business logo will help ensure they're only used for recycling and don't get mixed in with someone else's personal bins.

Dimension: 19.6 x 28.5 x 15.2in

Please limit one type of material per bin.
Plastics #1 and #2 may be combined into one bin.
Tin and aluminum cans may be combined into one bin.
Paper and cardboard may be combined into one bin.

You may purchase multiple bins for the same material but, for now, we are limited to 3 bins per household.
For example, if you use a lot of cardboard and minimal plastic you may purchase 2 bins for cardboard/paper, one bin for cans and toss the plastic in the trash (sigh).

Dimensions are approximate and the delivered bin may have minor variations from product image.

Set of 3 Stacked Bins ($52.53)

Each bin has a 10gal capacity for a total of 30gal, each marked with a Bitterroot Recycling logo.
Dimensions: 18 x 15 x 42in (stacked).

Please limit one type of material per bin. For example:
blue for tin/aluminum cans,
yellow for paper/cardboard, and
green for plastics #1 and #2

You may purchase up to 2 stacks of bins.

Dimension are approximate and the delivered set may have minor variation from product image.

Up to 3 Clear Bins ($14.98ea)

Plastics #1 and #2 may be combined into a shared bin.
(We do not accept other types of plastics)
Tin and aluminum cans may be combined into a shared bin.
Paper and cardboard may be combined into a shared bin.
Please break down and/or fold all cardboard until it fits into the bin. We cannot transport items outside of their bin.
And pleeease NO GREASY PIZZA BOXES. Please! (clean are okay)

Step 2 - Purchase The Bins

Support a local charity at no cost to you!
Use ACH direct transfer instead of credit cards

Although we do not upcharge for credit cards, we do incur a (much!) higher processing fee. Using ACH only will save us about $1,600 per year which we will donate to a local charity to keep more money serving our local community.

Privacy is our priority. Your personal information is processed exclusively by Stripe (our payment service provider) on their servers with all the bells and whistles we couldn’t afford ourselves. We access your personal information through the Stripe platform to ensure maximum security. The information you provide is only accessible to Stripe, to complete the payment, and ourselves, so we may fulfill your request and contact you in case of any changes (such as when an observed holiday alters the regular pickup date). We will never sell or rent your personal information. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details and reach out with any questions!

Step 3 - Recycle Mindfully

(Friendly Reminders)

Please ensure the item is an accepted material.
See what we do and do not accept.
Please wash all metal/plastics and ensure all paper and cardboard are clean.
Greasy pizza boxes and coffee-stained office paper are not recyclable.
Please sort the items into their designated bin.
By 7pm on the first Thursday of every month, set the bins at the end of the driveway where your trash is normally collected.
Please ensure all lids are securely attached to prevent neighborhood messes from curious critters or bad weather.
We cannot collect items that do not fit into the bins.
Please spread the word, and don’t forget to reduce single-use items and reuse what you can prior to recycling(:
